V-ati intrebat vreodata cand si cum a aparut aceasta sarbatoare a femeilor?
I will start today’s post by wishing you from all of my heart “Happy International Women’s Day”! Today we, women, celebrate ourselves from morning till night, right? We celebrate our achievements and those of other women, we celebrate our mothers, we celebrate our best friends and no matter how cliché it sounds, we remember once again how important it is to focus on our person from time to tine, putting us on first place!
Have you ever wondered when and how did this celebration of women appeared? Well, you should know that International Women’s Day has emerged as a political event, especially in the communist countries as a result of the numerous feminist revolts. The first evidence of this celebration was in 1909, in America, when there Socialist Party from there organized a range of activities in honor of the women who had organized a strike a year earlier. This celebration was developed at a larger scale in the Soviet bloc, and also in China. In the western part of Europe, International Women’s Day was certified in 1977.
Daniela Macsim and me thought to celebrate this day by organizing a blogger’s meeting with coffee, with stories put specially aside and with a bag of good vibes. We chose to wear feminine outfits signed by Laura Galic, which are part of the new spring collection. The location we chose was the Palas Mall Starbucks because we wanted a chill yet fashionable evening. We drank coffee, we felt good, we talked about our latest projects and Dan Filipciuc, besides the fact that he had to endure our crazy giggles, he also snapped a few moments of our meeting.
